Before I knew what to do for my final uni project, I borrowed two books from the library on paper engineering. – ‘Folding Techniques for Designers, from sheet to form’, and ‘Cut and Fold Techniques for Pop-Up Designers’, both by Paul Jackson.
I did a lot of making in the weeks following, and these are the results.
I also did some experimenting with light and photography on the more complex forms.
From this, I saw how the forms changed with the light being shined upon them, so I made some GIFs.
