Earlier this year, I took a short course in After Effects at City Lit, as I really wanted to learn how to do digital animation as well as stop motion. I went there once a week after work for three hours, and I loved it. The teacher was great, and we all learnt a lot. We were shown many different features of the software, from the basics (using keyframes and exporting) to more advanced things (such as using cameras and lighting).
Below is a video of all the animations I made during the course (excluding a few short text based ones). They are all very simple and don’t have any sound – but each video shows a different feature we learnt.
